Gamers Galaxy Islamabad
Gamers Galaxy, Pakistan’s premier E-Sports Festival that took place on January 8-9, 2023, at the Pak-China Friendship Centre in Islamabad. Drawing in thousands of participants, the festival featured intense competitions across popular games such as Valorant, PUBG Mobile, Her Galaxy Valorant Spike Rush 2v2, Tekken 7, and FIFA 22. The winners’ circle included Team Exploit Storm in Valorant, with a prize of Rs 2,500,000, while Arslan Ash emerged victorious in Tekken 7, securing Rs 600,000. Partners are Mountain Dew, Galaxy Racer, Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA), and Ten Sports. They helped make the gaming festival awesome for everyone!
In addition to placing great value on competitive gaming, Gamers Galaxy has embraced the artistic aspect of the business. A visually engaging aspect of the festival was the artist alley, where skilled local artists displayed artwork inspired by gaming. There was a chance for attendees to meet and talk to developers, who may shed light on the industry’s future and the creative process behind video games. Workshops and panel talks during the event also covered interesting ground, with subjects covered including the development of sports in Pakistan and the effects of gaming on mental health. The Gamers Galaxy Islamabad event was more than a gaming festival; it became a hub for the gaming community’s intellectual and cultural growth via the free exchange of ideas, art, and conversation.
